Today is Sunday and it's the first one in a long time that we have nothing major planned! And let me just tell you it feels like heaven!!! The Hubs let me sleep in a bit today. He is amazing!! He did the dishes and bottles and even took the kids on a walk to get a paper and a quick visit to the playground.
I love lazy days but lately I feel like I have so much to get to that I'm sort of racking my brain and writing down everything I have to do. Yeah, I am a list maker. Guilty as charged!! I make lists. Lots of lists. List of things to get, things I want, things I'm waiting for like packages or orders, things I have to take care of like vouchers or awesome coupons that will be expiring soon and the list of lists goes on!
What do you do on your lazy days? Do you make lists?

Proud Mama Moment #25,321 at the Color Me Rad
Please allow this Mommy blogger to brag. My awesome, beautiful 5 year old galie completed her first 5K over the weekend!!! She even did it in style!
She was amazing and had a smile the entire time! Last year when she found out about the Color Me Rad 5K she immediately put that on her goal list. Now she can cross it off her list. It was a funkalicous rainbow!
I am so proud of her and her growing passion to take part of races and runs. This is her 5th of the 2013 season and her longest to date!! She has a few more on her calendar to take part of. (Last year she participated in 5 events.) Totally en fuego!
She is simply awesome. No!! She is simply RAD!!

Styling in her goggles and ready to get some color!!
Excited to finally start!!
Getting hosed with YELLOW!
The ORANGE blur is her
Making her way up to the finish
- after being dragged (literally) through PURPLE!
PURPLE color bomb!
YELLOW color bomb!
Color bombs unite!
I just want to add - What a groovy and fun event!! We all had a totally awesome time! (Even with my sore back and big a$$ blister on my heel - haha) It wasn't a "serious" running event - there were no time chips. I saw a few people were wondering why there were so many walkers. Hey - at least those people were out and off their butts! We didn't run the whole time besides some of those rocks on the gravel were intense with plenty of hills. All that matters is that we had a blast and finished!

Eventually My Kids Will Figure Out
As I put the box of Lucky Charms back in the cabinet above the fridge and not in the cereal cabinet I realize there are currently two things I can think of that my kids will find out in a few years that they don't know now.
1. Why there is always a "missing" box of Lucky Charms - It's because I have my own box stashed away
2. Why there is never ever any Cheez-Its with burnt edges - It's because those are my favorites and I literally dig through their bowls to find them before I fork over their snacks.
What is something that your kid(s) will eventually learn one day that involves you sneaking or hiding something?

Citrus Lane - June Box Review
I think it is high time I try out a video unveiling/review. I know that given the chance to film something over again would drive me insane SO I gripped and ripped and filmed this unveiling in one shot, stumbling words and all! (I'm that critical - and let's not forget there are a few things left on the table that come into shot and since I had just done the dishes my wedding ring is not on.., doh!)
Ok - enough rambling! Here is unveiling of our Citrus Lane June box. This is geared towards my 12 month baby Bear.

Have you checked out Citrus Lane yet?
If you have - what did you get this month and what was your age group?
If not you can check them out and get $10 off your first box!
I purchased this Citrus Lane box and was not compensated in any way.
My opinions are my own.

Payback to my kiddos? Why not.
The other day my little guy must have thought the sofa was really a trampoline and we've been hiding that fact for a long time. So he took full advantage of jumping away on it. Even after I asked him not to several times, he kept on jumping until I escorted him to the dining chair to sit and think.
This made me think of all the things the kiddos do that drive me bonkers to our furniture and house. We all know that phrase "This is why I cant have anything nice" right? But we always think "Yes we can! We totally can!" We try to defy that. (I'm doing that right now as we look at furniture and decide what we'll want/need in the new house)
So this is what the Hubs and I were thinking last night - we'll just do what they do to our stuff to their stuff when they're older. Sounds fair right? Haha. How funny will it be for me to jump around on my son's sofa? Or stand on his dining chair singing on the top of my lungs? Or sit on the dining table and chatter away?
The Hubs is really looking forward towards his chance of taking a gallon of milk and "accidentally" spilling it all over the table and floor. I can only imagine. Haha. My daughter is notorious for spilling her cup during meal time because she is too busy talking and eating and talking while she's eating. Oy!
Another one of my favorites is my daughter peels her pj's off in the living room and changes into her day clothes but somehow forgets she left her pj's on the ground. I can't wait to peel off my pj's and just leave them there so she can stumble on them while she's walking across the room. (That's a work in progress with her - she is getting better at that.)
Last one for this post is the relentless asking for a snack from both of my Tweedles. Just five minutes ago they finished their breakfast of cereal, eggs, toast and banana and they are already asking for a snack. I haven't even finished cleaning up the kitchen. They don't give up either. I can hold them off for maybe a good solid minute or two until they're back asking if they can have a snack. I can't wait to eat a meal they prepare and then ask them if I can have a snack.
Have you thought about this with your little one(s)? What are you looking forward to doing "back to them" when they get older? Maybe during their teen years? Maybe more so when they've moved out?

(Not So) Wordless Wednesday
Okay - so here is another (Not So) Wordless Wednesday as we try to recover from the Komen Walk, friend's wedding, First Birthday party, 7th Wedding Anniversary, Hubs overnight trip, Zoo-no-wait-Science Museum day trip, not to forget a bloody mishap with a retractable measuring tape for my little guy -ALL while trying to pack/toss/donate/sell things for our move (phew!) past few days!
The view from my lap right now - My little guy needed some cuddles and a hand massage from his mum. I love him so much!!
(Even though he should really be in bed right now)

(Not So) Wordless Wednesday
So I decided to change it up a bit since I haven't been posting the past few days. Okay, it's been a week but who is really counting? There is plenty good reason I haven't been online though.
I am up to my ear in lemons and I LOVE it!
I picked up 160 lemons from the farmers market over the weekend and have been working on getting them ready for Bear's first birthday party. I'll post a few pictures of the projects I've been working on with them. Can you guess the theme from the pictures?

PS. I am amazed at just how much you can do with a lemon!!
